Just as with the Kestrel 5700 Elite with Applied Ballistics, the TERRAPIN X connects to this new weather meter, transmitting line of sight range, angle and azimuth via Bluetooth. This range information and the onsite environmental measurements are then processed by the Hornady 4DOF ballistics engine of the Hornady Kestrel 5700 Ballistics Weather Meter to calculate precise aiming solutions for any rifle or round.
